Our staff

Rob Clarke has been a trustee since 1996 and was co-trustee with Lady Isaac until her death in November 2012. Rob is a director of all the companies within the Isaac Group.

Rob is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner in Ernst & Young and associated partnerships from 1975 until 2004. Since 2005 Rob has operated, in sole practice, as a Chartered Accountant and Business Consultant.

A Trustee appointed since the death of Lady Isaac. Bill is a professional director. Bill is currently a Director of J. Ballantyne and Company Limited, Central Plains Limited, Overseer Limited as well as Isaac Construction Limited.

Bill is also a Trustee for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra Trust and The Lighthouse Vision Trust. Bills past directorships include Silver Fern Farms, Enable Networks and the Lyttelton Port Company. Bill has spent more than 30 years in government and business roles, predominantly with British Petroleum.

Alister is a Trustee appointed since the passing of Lady Isaac. Alister is a consultant at Chapman Tripp, a New Zealand national firm of Solicitors and has been associated with the Trusts and the wider Isaac Group, as a solicitor since 1990. Alister is a director of Isaac Construction Limited.

In his new role as CEO for ICWT, Rob Kinney will take over some of the current duties of Bruce Rule, Operations Manager, and Rob Clarke, Executive Trustee/Executive Chair, including budgeting and financial-related matters. Additionally, Rob will be responsible for property matters for the wider Isaac Group (ICWT and ILHL), including property valuation, insurance, rates, and leases.

Rob has a natural interest in conservation matters, spending his recreational time in the South Island High Country. Rob and his wife, Michelle, are part of the community trapping programme, Predator Free Te Kinga, working to establish a predator-free island on the West Coast. These values align well with the Trust's mission.

Rob will continue to work closely with Isaac Construction’s ELT.

Bruce Rule is the Operations Manager of the Trust and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Trust. Bruce is a civil engineer who worked for the Isaac Group for 35 years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Catherine Ott is the Administration Manager for the Trust and prior to this role was the Personal Assistant to the late Lady Isaac. Catherine is qualified as a Landscape Designer and is also involved in the day to day operation of the Trust.
